How to Upload Photos
In order to upload photo's you must have a user account and be signed in. Once you have created an account (if you do not have one already) and have signed in you should see a new menu entry below the Photo Gallery called "Photo Upload".
Click Photo Upload
From the Photo Upload page you should now see four Tabs: (User, Main Category, Subcategories, Images)
The first thing you need to do is create a Category to upload to.
- Click the Main Category Tab
- Fill in the Category Name & Description
- Click the Create Button
Once a category is created click the Image Tab to upload photos (No need for Subcategories).
There are two types of Uploads, a Java Upload and a Single File upload. (I suggest installing the Java client and using the Java Upload as it will allow you to upload multiple files at a time.
Note: The Java Upload will prompt you the first time with a Warning - security message. Check the Always trust content from this publisher and then click Run.
From the category drop-down select the category you just created (should be the only one available).
Click the Browse button and select the files you want to upload.
Click the Upload button.
Now when you go to the Photo Gallery you will see the directory (category) you created and the photos you uploaded.
Note: No one else will be able to see the photos until the WebMaster publishes the photos.
